Every account requirement is a lost sale. FUNC lets buyers checkout as guests with just email and card, then claim their tickets into a wallet after they've paid.
How it works
No account, no password, no verification screen before payment. Enter email, pay, done.
Buyers get an order confirmation email the moment payment clears, with a secure link to claim their ticket into a wallet.
The confirmation page and email prompt buyers to create (or sign into) an account with the same email — tickets appear in their wallet automatically.
Each order carries a hashed, email-bound claim token so only the buyer's inbox can attach the tickets to a wallet.
Once claimed, tickets get a rotating QR that refreshes every 30–60 seconds to prevent screenshot fraud at the door.
Guest orders are full records — refunds, resends, and check-in all work identically to logged-in orders.
Why it matters
Industry data has said it for years — forced signups cut conversion by 20–35%. Ticketing platforms still do it anyway. FUNC doesn't. The first purchase is a checkout, not an onboarding.
What buyers get right after checkout
Guest buyers land on a confirmation page and receive an order email. From either surface, they tap once to sign up or sign in with the same email — the order (and any prior guest orders on that email) attaches to their wallet automatically, and that's where the rotating QR lives.
FAQ
No — QRs live in the wallet, not in email. The confirmation email contains a claim link; one tap creates or signs into an account with the same email, and the ticket (with its rotating QR) appears in the wallet.
Static emailed QRs get screenshotted and resold. FUNC's rotating QR refreshes every 30–60 seconds inside the wallet, which is why an account is required to display it — even though no account is required to buy.
The order still exists and the buyer can request a new claim link by email at any time. Refunds, transfers, and organizer updates all work by order + email.
Refunds are issued by order ID — the buyer's email is on file, so support and self-service both work identically to logged-in orders.
Yes. Claim tokens are hashed and email-bound, the wallet QR rotates on a short timer, and all payments run through Stripe.
